New Here- Project 99 Cobra Hardtop

Hey guys, I'm new here, and also somewhat new to modeling. I haven't worked on one in 7 years....and the reason why I'm doing this one is that its going to be a suprise for my gf(already mentioned before) I actually bought the JDM ITR last summer to work on for fun but I never really got a chance to work on it. Only the body is painted(horribly, I have to take off all of the paint) and I have the interior somewhat done and suspension is done(I think..hehe). I'm not Primering it because I don't have any primer here(at college) and I can't get any unless I order it on the web. But for this car its not too important, and I'll probably get it when I do the JDM ITR and USDM ITR(not shown).

Oh yeah on the engine I glued on the valve cover wrong I'm thinking of taking a razor blade and cut it where it is glued....good idea?

Yeah, I did the engine yesterday and this morning I did the interior. I'm just doing school work now and then I'll be getting back to it. Just started it now so if I don't have anything I can get it when I come home on breaks. One thing I forgot was fine sand paper

Also I've been on AF for a long time just not in the model forum lol. But thanks for the welcome

P.S. If you saw upclose pics of it you would see there are parts that I overpainted . Gonna have to take the paint thinner and a tower or something and fix it up.

Oh yeah... sorry for the blurry pics but I thought I had enough light and didn't feel like using the flash...when I get farther into it I'll make sure they are very smooth pictures
