Re: Need a little information
Most molding is glued with a glue that hardens. It is made to be permanent and does not come off easily. My experience has been that I had to sand off the hard glue after ruining the molding trying to get it off. Some cars may be different, you may have to go to a body shop and ask.

Re: Need a little information
the mouldings along the middle of the door or so are held on with 3M double sided tape from the factory, it sticks very well but can be peeled off (i did it with my '00 LX), once you haver the moulding off, there will be some sticky foam left, use a heat gun and some good chemical, a.k.a. acrosol or paint thinner, and that will come right off to give you a nice clean finish...worked well for me. good luck

Re: Need a little information
A heat gun has made some people's paint bubble up, so I'd say use a hair dryer.
