Moving BMW 330i from Houston to Paris

Hello All.

I have a 2001 330i 4D Sedan, loaded, ~11K miles.

My company has transferred me to Paris, France; They will move everything for me but the car. I'm exploring the possibility of shipping it myself so I can use it not for day-2-day use, but weekend excursions outside of Paris and other countries.

Could some one please advice me on:

1. What are the French complications on moving the car - registration, importation tax etc.
2. Any recommendation on a good moving company who can give me a quote on moving the car from Houston to Paris, and take care of the rest.
