I Got Boost!!!!

I just got me a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP..75,000 miles on it..

I think my Jeep feels stronger out the hole till maybe 40..Its been raining here since I got it so I dont know what it really can do..Everytime I get into it with the performance shift on it starts spinning tires..I cant wait till its nice out..

This should be in the non-specific forum. In any event I think you got a good car. It should definitely outperform your jeep.

This weekend is a no go. Mary is comming into town Friday. Next weekend I'm golden. I could come on Friday but I'd have to leave at like...6:30ish

Try not to over use the performance switch. It electronically ups the tranny fluid pressure which generates more heat. As most know hot fluid is the worst enemy of auto's. It was meant for occasional random use thats why its default is off.

Also boost rules!!!

can't wait for you to start to mod that thing, responds really well to mods, and i think jeff would point you in the right direction with his 12sec gtp i believe it is unless its faster now.

Jeff has a mid 11 second GTP. He’s done a lot of work to it though. Heads, cam(s)?, ported blower, non-stock transmission(?).

Pretty cool cars. I was thinking about getting one for a daily driver.
