How many Evo VII's will be built per year?
Rumors say that there is about 1000 Lancer Evolution VII's built per year. Can someone confirm this?
Thanks |

I think that number is 10,000 but I also believe that is for the Ralliart version of the Evo VII. I dunno for certain. The article where I read this (Road and Track) was kinda vague...

10,000 per year?
That sounds quite odd. Im not sure what mitsu have planned for the EVO VII, but 10,000 units a year may be quite high. The Evo VI RS came in 900 Units. If the Evo VII is going to come in so many.. then this tells us one thing - its going to be here for a while |

It could very well be 1,000 units. And that does seem to be more average. I'll check tomorrow if I can. Until then...

I thought that under the old ruling at least 5,000 cars (homologation ruling) should be build. Now that the new EVO is running under the WRC ruling I think this is abandond. But 1,000 items a year will be VERY limited.
I haven't gotten hard evidence on this, but I believe that the production batch will be around 5,000 items in total RHD & LHD. It could well be higher though, now that the car has been added with some more luxery. Nico |

FWIW,
A first batch of 10 LHD EVO VII RS models is due to arrive at the end of this month in the Netherlands. These are all going to Rally teams. Next to arrive is a batch of 40 RS2 in LHD trim. These are due at the end of this year. :flash: Nico |

Hi,
First official LHD Evo VIIs will arrive in January. My non-official arrives 1st of November to Rotterdam ![]() I've heard that only 1300 LHD units will be produced. |
