Moog Camber kit for 93GAGT
Does anyone have any experience with these?
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I took the car for an alignment. They fixed the Tow in/out on the front. but the camber or caster is off and pulling to the left. Sears automotive did the work but said that there is no adjustment for the caster/camber. Problem #1 the passenger strut mount needs to be replaced. The struts are only a year old, but the mounts were not replaced. I want to replace the strut mounts, and am considering adding these kits for the camber. Problem # 2 the rear passenger is out on the Tow. Sears said it has to be shimmed but that of course is extra. So i didnt bother with them doing it. Any help is appreciated. Thx Cad |

Re: Moog Camber kit for 93GAGT
That camber kit goes on the bottom where the strut attaches to the knuckle. If you are good with a drill you can ovalize the holes in the strut and get the same result without spending the money on the kit, and its something you may have to do anyway. As for shimming the rear, have them do it, if not your alignment will be off and you will eat tires. And on the strut mounts, replace both mounts and make sure you change the bearing plates as well, they take some tremendous stress and you have to take all that apart anyway.
