Valvoline Max Life oil

does valvoline max life - high mileage oil help me at all or should i be using any type of oil?
my car has almost 300 thousand km on it.

Regular dino Castrol GTX 5w or 10w30 FTW. Seriously though, its all opinion like the man said, plus how much oil you burn.

well i used mobil one but now i use royal purple(in the rex).
in the prelude i use regular mobil, or castrol what ever i feel like at the time.

i used max life in my civic...but other times i used autozone oil b/c i was going thru it so quick
