78 vette pace car

just acquired a 78 pace car with 14,000 org miles. The was stored for 25 yrs with only little driving. The car runs rough when warm, accelerating off a light. It is a L48 350, what can i do to make it run smoother? New to the vette world don't know any tricks yet.

Re: 78 vette pace car

carb or FI? would be good to get all old gas out, put premium in, new filters and all. if carb, then could need a good rebuild. How does it run once moving...still rough?

Re: 78 vette pace car

it runs good when i give it 1/2 or 3/4 pedal just when i take off from light it boughs down. it does have a carb, it ran good when i first drove it now, putting about 40 miles on it, it runs like this. I put 94 oct in it, i also bought an oct booster 104, have not added to it yet, wasnt sure.
