94 Lesabre with battery warning light

I was on my way to work this AM and my battery warning light came on 3 different times for no apparent reason. THe battery is 1 year old and the alternator is 3 years old. Anyone have any ideas about this? Car seemed to run fine when light was on. Looking for ideas or tests to troubleshoot the system.

Thanks

Jack

Re: 94 Lesabre with battery warning light

If you have an AutoZone or Advanced Auto parts nearby, on your way home today, stop by and tell them you want to have the alternator and battery tested. They will do it for free! Also, be sure to check the terminals for corrosion & tightness.

It sounds like Gremlins. You probably won't be able to see them when you open the hood because they hate the light. If you do see one, don't give him any water no matter how thirsty he looks.

Just kidding.

Seriously, just do what hotz28 suggested.
