i really need some help...please

i posted to a thread the other day about a similar problem that someone had with there dsm i didnt really find out what i needed to and i need some help...i have a 96 tsi i just recently put a new clutch in it and i drove it about 30 miles then let it sit then i decide to take it out and i didnt even get out of first gear and pop went the exhaust and my car started to run really shitty i checked all the fluids there fine and i took off the heat shield to the exhaust mainfold and on of the four bolts up top was completly loose and sticking up i tighted it and when i started it, there was still exhaust gas coming out of it somewhere...and running bad i have no idea what it could be help please...

Well the car wouldn't be running shitty because of the exhaust unless there is a major leak on the exhaust manifold or the turbo. The car doesn't require backpressure so anything after the turbo wouldn't make it run like shit. It would just sound like shit.

Are you throwing a CEL at all?
