How to remove Wiper Arms?
I have a 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo and I'm having trouble getting the arms off. The arms are rusted and I want to remove them to sand them down and paint them.
There is a cap screw on all 3 but after removing these screws the wipers wouldn't come up. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks |

Re: How to remove Wiper Arms?
On my 89 there are nuts after pulling off the plastic cover piece on the arm. After you remove the nut, I had to move the arm back and forth until the arm came off. You just have to play with it. The only part that I remember has screws, is where the wiper blade attaches to the arm. For those if you, strip em too badly, drill em or cut them off. I used POR 15 on my arms (gloss black) and it turned out very nice.
