Laundry Help

I need help getting 2 things out of clothes: Ink and Blood.

I have two white jackets (both with some color on it; one with black, the other with baby blue, navy...) that have black pen ink all over it. Apparently my brother left a pen in his jeans pocket and it exploded in the washer or dryer. One is cotton and the other is a track jacket, so i guess polyester stuff? I tried using a bleach pen on the ink areas, but to no avail... what can i do?

the second is a baby blue t-shirt, one of my favorite ones. It's cotton, but very thin and delicate. also, its got "a different weave" according to American Eagle, but it does feel a lot smoother than any cotton T, but the tag says handle gently, so scrubbing is out of the question. I've got a bit of blood on it, don't ask how, stupid story involving me on the back bumper of a mustang holding on the spoiler doing 30mph... (alcohol is bad, kids, mmmkay?) a simple wash didn't get the blood out. obviously can't use bleach, what do i do?

thanks for any help

Re: Laundry Help

If the blood didn't go through the dryer, try peroxide on it to loosen it, then wash it. Works pretty good on denim, doesn't make a noticable difference in the color or the feel of the fabric. If it went through the dryer, buy a new shirt, it's probably never going to come out as the dryer will bake it in. No idea for the pen ink except make your brother replace everything he wrecks in the laundry by leaving pens in his clothes.

Re: Laundry Help

You could get get some Nappysan Plus Oxy-Action, make it into a paste and watch the stain disappear before your very eyes! Honestly no B.S that stuff will get anything out and is safe on clothing/colours...........

When did I say you had to look like trash? Do I know that you wear these clothes for certain events or dates? Are they comfy clothes you like and wear all the time around the house, school, friends only?

I was meaning, its a couple articles of clothing, deal with it and buy more, or keep trying new remedies. Its not exactly a life threatening situation.
