warm engine hard starting
1998 Blazer 4.3 Vortec when engine is cold it starts right up, when engine is warm it will not start. I will crank the motor many times and then I must push the gas and make it start. The engine runs smooth with no miss but it gets very poor gas mileage. I have the CSFI fuel injection--you might know it as the "Spider Injection". One mechanic told me they sell a modified fuel injection from the dealer. Is this my problem. It is very costly. HELP!!! My pockets are getting very thin.

Re: warm engine hard starting
I would remove the ignition module and have it checked free at auto zone or advance. Take a hair dryer with you and warm it up before testing. I would ohm your temperature sender and ask to ohm a new one at the store. A big difference in reading I would change. If you have a logic probe that will monitor pulse I would check around the module and hall effect sensors and signals to the coil. If you can find coil neg. put a 12V test light on it and see if it blinks when hot.
