Can't remove the key from the ignition

Has anyone had this happen? This morning after driving for awhile I parked and could not turn the key back enough to remove it. Is this related to switch on the brake that allows you to shift to reverse or drive or is this a blown fuse? Is it an expensive fix if it's not a fuse? Are there any previous threads on this type of issue? Appreciate any help.

Re: Can't remove the key from the ignition

i had this problem as well. to get the key out you have to play with the gear shift. push it a lil harder into park and it should come out. i went and made a new key and it doesnt do it any more.
