Ferrari Daytona decal emergency!

Well, I've really gone and done it now. I have been working on, for some time now, an original issue Fujimi Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona coupe and it's been coming along gorgeously (save for a paintjob that a polishing kit could've saved if it hadn't burned through on the character lines, so the body is in brake fluid right now).

However, as I was working on the interior, I came into a startling and horrifying discovery on the decals. Even though they'd never been taken out of their shrink-wrap, they still dissolved in water, leaving me without a gauge cluster!

I'll undoubtedly be getting the Studio27 detail set so that I have fresh photoetch badges and gauge surround, but I still need the base decal so that I can actually have gauges! Does anyone have a spare set from one of the recent reissues, or do I have other options that don't involve buying another kit? Please help my Daytona!

Re: Ferrari Daytona decal emergency!

Well... maybe i could help... but it might take awhile. Ill be able to get a reissue template of the 365 decals. But i dont really see a point printing one a4 size paper full of it -.-... Ill prob have to fill it up with other decals first then print it. UNLESS your willing to pay for the whole sheet of a4 i guess then its fine with me. Printing will be done via ALPS , multi layer printing . Like tamiya decals.
*Edit .

Before i actually print for you or do anything , let me get my current decals which will be done by tmr. Then i have to check out my quality , If its good ill post a reply here with a picture of the decals. Then u can decide if u want me to print. Thanks
Cheers

Re: Ferrari Daytona decal emergency!

Well, honestly I don't see too much call for decals in my projects but I'm sure that I could come up with a full sheet's worth of decals for projects with enough time.

A set of Mopar decals for the Revell SRT-10 Viper to replicate Sam Hubinette's ride this or last year would be stellar if that's in your scope, or maybe markings to replicate the late great Rich Vogler's sprinter (for use on the Grant King sprint car reissue)?

I have a set of Indycals ALPS decals that are absolutely stellar. So, I'm sure yours will be equally good in color quality and ease of application. I'd just have to see the artwork to get a gauge. Thanks no matter what for the offer, and how much would a sheet cost?

Re: Ferrari Daytona decal emergency!

Fujimi recently reissued the kit so you may be able to get a replacement set from them. Try contacting HLJ and see if they can help you.

It depends on the number of decals on the 365 sheet.. prob the max ill charge is 7 to 10 USD maximum 10 no more then that , ill assure u ... just for the 365 decals alone .. not a4..
I think shipping should be fairly cheap due to its lightness ... Maybe u can quote me a price reasonable for yourself ... then we'll see how much i can go
