01 Venture Power Door Locks Won't Lock

All of a sudden I can unlock my doors, but they won't unlock using the button on either door. Going from Park to Drive they will lock. Any ideas?

Don

Hi Don - Welcome to the forum!

You probably have a loose wire between the switches and the Body Control Module (BCM).

There have been multiple reports on this forum of wires (and splices) getting wet and corroded under the passenger side carpet, at the wire harness.

If a schematic will help, you can find one below.

Door Lock Switches

Take Care,

Take Care,
That might explain why my passenger side door will roll the window up, but not down.
