The roof part, in my revell's superamerica, it looks a bit twisted...

This

Also, could we have a picture of the two cars, facing each other... with the pic taken from the side, if you don't mind?

Thanks a lot!

Better body + engine = Revell wins!

Thanks for this very good comparison!

Re: Ferrari Superamerica Fujimi vs Revell

I purchased the Revell kit about 3 weeks ago. I am very happy with it in the box. It is a very nice kit overall. Somebody here was saying that the real cars glass roof was one piece but after viewing pictures of the real one I see it is not. Thanks for the review.

Mike.

Re: Ferrari Superamerica Fujimi vs Revell

Thanks for the comparison review Jelly. Well done. From what I've seen in completed models of the 550's and 575's Fujimi has the correct stance and ride height but not so with Revell so give and take with each company I guess.

Is the air duct over the left rear wheel on the real car actually functional or just there for looks?

Of course it's functional. It has a gearbox oil cooler behind it.

Re: Ferrari Superamerica Fujimi vs Revell

i've finished about 70% testfit of the revell kit, only the cockpit has not been started yet.revell really provides some amazing details but it still warped and shrinked here and there, fitness of the front suspension and wheel arch sucks...fortunately the chassis is flat.anyway,a lot of works to do before painting.
