Re: front seats removal

Remove:
(1)operate seat to full-forward position.
(2)two rear bolts securing seat to floor pan.
(3)Rear support covers.
(5)move seat forward.
(6)tilt seat forward, move rear of front track cover down, slide forward and unsnap.
(7)tilt seat forward and disconnect electrical connectors, and pneumatic hose(If equipped).
Install:
(1)Prior to installing seat, check that the area where the hooks engage, is not deformed or raised. It the sheet metal is deformed, flatten the raised sheet metal with appropriate devise,ex: balpeen hammer, etc.
(2)position seat so hooks align in slots.
(3)tilt seat forward and connect the electrical connectors and pneumatic hose(if equipped).
(4)tilt seat forward, and snap track cover down into position.
(5)rear seat covers.(rear adjuster cover must be installed prior to driving bolt to secure seat. Ensure adjuster tongues are under the track)
(6)two rear bolts securing seat to floor pan.
Tighten bolts to 42 N.m(31 lb. ft.)
