ProScan
I have a '97 Tahoe Vin R and am interested in purchasing an OBD II scanner. I am leaning towards the ProScan VPW Scan Tool. Does anyone have this product? Does it work well? I'm mainly interested in monitoring the cam offset sensor to get the timing correct. The on-line info does not really cover all the features of this product, but I figured that some of the fine folks that post on this forum may have experience with this prodict. I'd really hate to spend over $100 for something that won'd do what I need.

on the R motor the timing should be set to 0deg(neutral). The ignition control system changes it =/- 25deg as needed.This is of course if you still have the factory ignition system in it.
