Hi, I bought a brand new hatch cylinder for my jimmy 94, i have the model that you have a tailgate and a window that locks to it. here is my question, is it the normal behavior of the lock to allow opening of the tailgate without the key into the lock and yet preventing the opening of the window... if yes, it is quite easy to just break the window by pulling on the freely opened without lock key tailgate... i tried 2 different lock and they seem to have the same behavior....cant open the window without the key, but still can open the tailgate and when the key is in the lock, opens on both side.
