no heat on passengers side

hello all,,i've had this problem for awhile now.when using the heater i get hot air on the drivers side and ice cold air on the passengers side.i've tried every possible setting with no improvements.i've read similar posts which point to the actuator motor or "blend box" as the problem.there are several of these motors under the dash, how can i single out the bad one if in fact this is my problem ??

Re: no heat on passengers side

Hey there,

I would subscrube to alldatadiy.com. They have an online version of the factory service manual...or order a copy of it. There is a diagram of the actuators for the blend box. Figure out which actuator flap blends into the passenger side and go after that one. My A/C wasn't working right so I had to go under my dash. I used the diagrams from alldata and was able to get to the motors. It's a pain....hope your not a big guy!! Get a pillow for your back..mine was sore for days.

Good luck - Drew
