dirt daubers and lincoln throttle bodys
well i started my 90tc the other day and it ran fine for a few minutes and then it developed a severe miss as if you flipped a switch
, new plugs new wires new distributor cap and rotor no help , pulled the throttle body off and found a dirt daubers nest that was built and had broken loose and and was causing a blockage, removed blockage and it is again running fine, all hoses and filters where in place so now i am wondering how that dirt dauber found its way into my car , i know it sets for extended periods without being driven but i still do not know how that insect got there and made enought trips to build a nest

Quote:
Better have a good look at the whole Cold Air Intake assembly, including the Air Filter. Some folks drill out the bottom of the Air Box, or cut off one bottom corner for better air flow.
