Unhappy Rear interior help...

You kow that stupid thing that covers the jack and tire iron in the rear part of the truck on the driver side? Well, that cover thing kept falling off while driving until finally it broke the upper most clip. Now there is no way it will stay put while driving. Does anyone have any ideas on what to put there? Does a company make anything aftermarket to go in this stop? Help please it is such an eyesore to look at!

Re: Rear interior help...

they are sold on ebay for about $40 but you can definately pick one up at a local junk yard or swap meet for less.

Re: Rear interior help...

Had the same problem on my 99 Blazer. The rubber gromants unscrew from the plastic clip arms, put one small washer on top of the gromant and screw back together. It should hold now.

The actual piece that the upper most clip goes into cracked completly off. I just glued the entire top to the plastic frame. It's holding up pretty well, and since I don't keep anything in that compartment it's fine for now.
