Re: Kicker vs Soundstream

an interesting question with no definitive answer ...... if there was one best speaker in every dept, everyone would be making it. Every speaker has compromises, you balance SPL, sound quality, cost and a few other factors to make what is to you a good speaker.

What do you think about the 8500 watt rms 15 that soundstream makes?

and this mentality is why most cities are passing and ENFORCING strict noise pollution (anti-boomer laws). We did a show earlier this year and most of the locals stayed home - it's an army town, full of young punks I'm sure - the laws are so strictly enforced that no one wanted anyone else to know they had anything other than a stock system in their ride.

I have not problem with wanting some bump on occasion, that's partly why I'm getting subs. But if your goal is to be annoying, that's just stupid.

Re: Kicker vs Soundstream

So how are you going to hear it if your in the club.

Thats all anyone needs is for another idiot to be running around giving anyone else with a system a bad name. Thats the reason they sterotype people. Dont get me wrong if im a stop light and theres a punk there rattling there trunk to no end, il turn mine up to put them to shame. If you want it loud go for it, dont blame us when your deaf by 25. I dont have a real problem with these idiots but when your trunk makes more sound than your bass its sad. Let alone the fact you can never hear anything but bass, its pointless.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

it's what a lot of ricers like doing, going to the club, dancing, then after closing, they "show off they're pimp-ass wang", along with their lambo doors and neons and spinners.

Re: Kicker vs Soundstream

I cant stand ricers i hate them with a pasion, that also puts a bad sterotype on people who drive imports. I hate being stereotyped since im hispanic, im a big guy, i drive an s10 blazer, and a honda, and i like my music. It gets annoying.

On another note, you cant compare the crap that they call rap and hip hop today to the old school shit. None of these little thugs have ever heard of wu-tang clan, ODB, big poppa, old school method man, run dmc, old school dre. I hate new rap with a passion, it used to have good lyrical content and the music wasnt a keyboard and drum machine put on repeat with three guys saying the same thing over and over again. The rap today isnt music its people with no talent repeating what everyone else has said before only changing the music and the way its said, its boring, they sound retarded, and so far all the new rappers have gone broke within 3 years of there career because they have one good song and cant produce anything after that so they ride that until it dies and they disapeer with it.

I think im done.

But i also listen to rock, heavy metal (death metal), practically everything. Its wiered my cd collection goes from wu-tang, to korn, to children of bodom, to some country. Like i said i like my music.

Oh yeah as soon as i can get my turbo crap straight i will have one of the fastest CB7 4 door accords in the nation. Street legal that is. IM waiting to race against some mustangs in what appears to be a 4 door grandmas car, little will they know that i have a 2.3l engine with 15 psi running through it. Im looking to hit mid 11's, im cant find an exact 1/4 mile number but so far ive found a high 10 sec run from a h22 powered accord. Other than that there all blinged out and retarded.
