Going to a 90 N/T throttle body question

just wondering if it is completely straight forward install or if i'll need to do anything special for it. i know it is larger since i've got it in my garage.

Also, without the elbow should i have a rubber/silicone connector in a 45 degree angle? or should i source a solid elbow and attach it with a silicone connector? i'd understand that at an elbow like that, it would be more prone for a boost leak if it wasn't solid or if it would even be a problem.

next if anyone has any tips i'd appreciate it!

thanks guys.

I'm also putting a 90 n/t tb on my motor and for the most part it should be a direct swap... Should be... Did I change my tps on mine? I can't remember for sure... I think I may have done something with the plug on it.

I would run a hard elbow but definately ditch that shitty 1g elbow. Use the 2g hard elbow, much better flowing.

Re: Going to a 90 N/T throttle body question

cannot use the 2g elbow with the NT TB, i also put a nt tb on my car direct bolt on just get a silicone elbo to clamp on the throttle body, and the sensors are the same, no need to change them.

Re: Going to a 90 N/T throttle body question

yeah def. can't use the 2g TB elbow. there's no where for it to bolt to!!

but i'll look for some harder parts at the homes depot around here. and the silicon connector i can prolly get from work

soon as my engine gets back from the builder, i'll get the TB swapped over and she'll be ready to drop in.
