2001 deville radio problem

I recently had the radio go out on my 2001 deville.The clock is on and the radio shows volume on the display when it first starts up but no sound.I have a cd cassett in the glove compartment and it has power going to it it will eject the cartrige.The cd on the radio will let you put a cd in and will also eject it but the radio will not work, as will the cassett player. I have on star and it will not work either. I checked the radio fuses and they were fine . I disconnected the battery and hooked it up again and still no luck.Any ideas anyone.Thanks for any input.

I am not sure if this will help.I had the same problem when I put in my new amp.The system maybe design to not allow anything put in or taken or it will not work properly.My problem went away when I removed the amp.
