ok my truck has a 302 efi when u run it for a last 30 min the oil hand drop and it acts like it loses power the only thing i can think of is the oil pump but u can give it gas and it the oil hand gos up and it run good but when u let off the gas it sound like its lose in power but if u need more jusk but can any one help i love my truck

It's not as bad as it seems. From the sounds of it the pressure guage drops when the oil gets to operating tempature and this is most likely because the oil has become too thin to regulate the guage correctly which means the guage is on it's way out. I lived wihtout my guage from the day I bought my truck. It is not a necessary component, just a convenience. If you get no knocking from the engine, then the oil is still circulating. When you give it gas, you form pressure enough to move the guage. It is nothing to worry about.

How low does the needle drop Say after you have run it for an hour and it is fully warmed up? Does it stay in the normal range when fully warmed up and driving? When idling it just needs a little bit of oil pressure, but still some, If it moves up a noticeable amount from being shut off you would be OK at idle. If your oil pressure guage is accurate, obviously you have worn bearings, or possibly, but not as likely, a worn oil pump. If you watch what your doing with it, like not letting it run low on oil, it may run a long time that way.
