What should I look for before buying a wrecked Civic?

There's this 1990 Honda Civic DX sedan that someone is selling for $200 and I'm supposed to go look at it in a few hours.

It runs, but will overheat after several minutes due to the damaged radiator.

It obviously needs a front bumper, fenders, corner lights, headlights, bumper lights, hood, radiator and windshield.

There's the metal piece that runs under the headlights that is bent upward in the picture, I am not sure if that is fixable. I haven't owned a 88-91 Honda almost 2 years and I just can't remember what all the parts look like and what's what. I did own one years and years ago with similar damage and it was all fixable. No frame damage or anything.

Does this look fixable to you or is it even worth my time looking at it? What else should I be looking for?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Re: What should I look for before buying a wrecked Civic?

I didn't buy it

It started right up and sounded nice tho. The front end looked like something I just didn't want to tackle. Too many body parts to be replaced and welded in. Yuck.

Too bad. I've been Civicless for too long and it's killing me! Maybe next time...

Thanks for the replies.
