battery & alarm

Hello all

I was treeing to re place the battery on my late 96 BMW 525tds , i hock the battery buster on and change it , but only the alarm starts and noting else , and it works fine on the buster .???

I would be great full if any body can help with any think .

Try tightening the fan belt and re-charging the battery. If the fan belt is just a little bit loose there will be a drop in voltage. The alarm then "thinks" that the car is being tampered with and it will sound and immobilise the engine.

thank you it was the fuse the one after the battery , i change it and naw it works , its strange be kause it workt fine with the battery buster , i think there was a little electronik on the fuse .
