PCM Anybody?

Has anybody had to replace their PCM? Just curious....

Also does anybody know of software I could buy to do my own PCM reflash (if I was to buy a pcm from the junk yard) and crank sensor learn.

The dealer wants $120 to do it, there has to be a way around that....

Thanks.

Not a bad idea, in fact I thought of it myself but its a matter of how far I want to drive the thing in limp mode. I guess it probably won't hurt it but I don't want to wreck my tranny.
