Hi, my car is a 2000 cavalier. It's all good until recently
everytime I make a left turn, the ABS&TC lights are on. I have to turn the ignition off, and on again then the lights not on. But next time I make a left turn again, they will be on again. And it's getting worse today, some noises come out. What's the problem? Please help 'cause I know nothing about anything.

Re: ABS&TC lights on when making left turns
I have that same problem, only my ABS light and ETS OFF lights come on, and it's everytime I make a RIGHT turn lol, I've been asking about this for awhile now and I'm thinking it's a fray or open/exposed ABS wire or some wire behind one of the wheels, or it could also be a speed sensor.

Re: ABS&TC lights on when making left turns
if you have a frayed or open wire, i'd start there
but it sounds like a sesnor, particularly an ABS sensor

Re: ABS&TC lights on when making left turns
Could be a frayed wire or a wire that is being pinched maybe??

Many thanks. But what is a fray and what does it do?

Re: ABS&TC lights on when making left turns
a splice, you have the wire itself and its covered in rubber, a fray is when that rubber coating is damaged and the wire is exposed,
