Have you heard of these?

I just got 2 12" subs but they're "HARDSTYLE" I never heard of them before but I was wondering if anyone else has.

I got them used, a friend of mine just got married and his wife made him get rid of them, $40. I really bought it for the box but if the subs are pretty decent I will keep them if not off to ebay they go.

If anyone has heard of them and they are worth the time to hook up and use how much power should I give them....

I have a few amps but no subs because I'm in the middle of building a box for my new subs still sitting here in the box....mocking me....

P.S. can anyone tell me where the smileys went. I dont see them and I tried refreshing like 8X

Re: Have you heard of these?

Did a search. Couldn't find anything online about them. My suggestion.

Re: Have you heard of these?

at the least, it's gonna be real difficult to build a proper box for them if you have NO specs on them.

Re: Have you heard of these?

yea they sound alright....
actually they suck but the box that he gave me is pretty nice.

i may give them away or ebay them.
all my friends are broke and i'm always the one helping them out so selling them is not an option.

and i have no idea what you mean by wall socket.

Re: Have you heard of these?

he is saying plug them into a standard 110V AC wall socket. Power would be appx 110^2/4 = 3025 watts RMS at 60 Hz ..... and not just a burp, that's constant RMS power all day kinda stuff.

Re: Have you heard of these?

you find an old lamp cord solder the ends to the terminal ( if they are dvc you may need a jumper wire) and plug her in and watch the smoke.
