99 Tahoe Z56 wheel fitment

I have a stock 99 tahoe Z56.....I know a z56 isn't exactly stock.....but the first thing I am looking for is, what factory wheels will fit this beast?. I was thinking of some Corvette wheels Z06 or ZR1 maybe in a 17x10/17x11 or 18x10/18x11 size. I don't want anything aftermarket, I am going for a "factory" modified/concept look.

Most GM's share similar bolt patterns but I am curious to know if anybody has tried this yet and if you need adapters to make them fit.

The second thing I am looking for is if anybody has any other ideas on suspension mods? I'm not looking to take the airbag route, maybe something a little more hardcore. I really want to tear up the corners....I'm thinking big swaybars, tubular front control arms, big brakes, 4 or 5 link rear suspension, or maybe corvette rear sespension. Just looking for some ideas or past experiences....let's hear it.....

Re: 99 Tahoe Z56 wheel fitment

Your bolt pattern is 5x5 or 5x127 same thing. Astro 5 lug, Caprice or Impala (94-96) wheels will fit. As far as suspension goes mine handles very well with new factory leaf springs, and Edelbrock IAS shocks all around. Polyurethane bushings on front sway bar and end links, and the front sway that comes in the Z56 is the biggest I can find 1 5/16th of an inch in fact after market one’s are smaller in diameter.
