|
UH problem
I tried hooking up my aftermarket pioneer HU to my 96 corsica...and it wont work..i got the right harness and a guy said to get a piece of speaker wire and intertwine it with the black wire and put it in a metal peice unpainted..I did this and still nothing

yes it has a cassete player/radio and it works fine but then i hook up the HU and no nothing...im pretty sure the HU works tho...

Are your connections done with electrical tape or did you actually krimp them together?
O wait you said you used harnesses so they just hooked up male adapter to female? I'm no expert i'm just asking you questions i would generally check if it was my radio..

are you positive all your connections are good.
did you check the HU in a different car?

yup i just got back from doin that at a buddies....my HU works in his car and we tried puttin in a different HU into my car and still no luck

^ i agree....
if your factory radio is working when u match up the wires then maybe you're just matching up the wires wrong for the aftermarket ones.

FIXED....it was a fuse...pointed out from an audio shop tech. but thanks anyway for the help..
