Maintenance light

How do you turn off the maintenance light on a 2002 RSX?

Re: Maintenance light

Take it to the dealer or a shop with a scan tool.

Re: Maintenance light

Not my first choice. Maybe I'll try disconnecting the battery.

Re: Maintenance light

Check the owners manual, that might tell you how to do it.

Re: Maintenance light

on my GSR there is a little box under the steering wheel (on the piece of plastic trim) and it has a button...you just push and hold it and the Maintenance light goes bye bye

No, just check the manual. Don't waste your time with the battery, then you gotta reset all your info and let the pcm reprogram itself.

Re: Maintenance light

On the RSX's, as with my car, the Maintenance required light is reset the exact same way.

With the car off, press and hold the Trip Odometer knob, and start the car. Wait 10 seconds, and shut the car off. The light is now reset.
