94 maxima weird idle

when i start it up the engine is nice and smooth but the idle is at 1500 rpm and then drops real fast to like 1000 rpm and it keeps doing it over and over again.

check your throttle cable, it maybe to tight. Loosen the cable from throttle plate and see if it stops. IF it does , then it's just a matter of loosening the cable a little ... gl

Theres an intake air leak, between MAF and IACV (blue dots, see below). If u do not find loose or brittled hoses, check & clean the Throttle.
