camaro engine swap

I have a 1996 3.8l v6 camaro and I want to put a 4.3l v6 in it but i do not know if the 4.3 will bolt up to the 3.8 tranny. Can someone please help?

4.3L 6? what car is that from.. im guessing it wont, since im sort of assuming its from a fwd... they had 4.3's?! wow.

the 4.3 is in a astro van and the van is just sitting up for a parts truck, so all i have to do is take it out and rebiuld if it would bolt up. but thats what im not sure about

the reasoning is that im pushed for money and trying to keep from having to replace the tranny and driveshaft. if i had the money i would just put a 350 in it. but need transportation. camaro is bown up

4.3 is also the v6 size that is used in the S10s if I remember right.

yeah thats right but i wish i could just do that and keep from having to go and buy another tranny and engine.
