96 suburban rear end??????????

does any one know if a 99 tahoe rear end is the same width as my 96 suburban and will it work as long as the ratio is the same? thanks. mark.

Check http://car-part.com/index.htm I believe it uses an interchange when searching. In this case it appears the Suburban/Yukon/Tahoe might be interchangeable. Obviously you will want to check in person (or at least compare measurements with someone standing at the differential) but seems like a good possibility.
