2 things, I have a 1991 3000gt sl, just had the engine swapped, but the battery is still getting to much voltage, i checked the altenator, good, so that leads me to believe wiring, any ideas...? also it makes a crackling noise near the air intake hose when the key is turned to accessorie possition...again any ideas?
Anything would be great just need somewhere to start, Thanks |

Does it say it getting overloaded on your guage inside the car? If so, those guages are notorious for being incorrect. As for the clicking sounds, check to see that all connections are tight and that they aren't touching anything other than what hey are supposed to be connected to.

What do you mean your battery is getting too much voltage. The battery provides the voltage. How high of volts are you seeing, because 12-14.5V is normal (use a multimeter or a decent gauge, don't trust a single stock gauge in these cars). That crackling, could be alot of things, so start removing your intake piping, etc, and find out what it is.
