shock question

when looking for new shocks i found out that they say exc. H.D. suspension
and w/H.D. suspension?? whats the difference thanks

The HD suspensions had multi-leaf springs on the older Novas.

so do i have to get H.D's if i plan on getting multi leaf springs even if i have a small block

Just go for a good name brand of gas shock and you'll be ok. Ask your auto parts guy to look up the application in either a Monroe or Gabriel catalog.
