Most of the cars I have seen have suede on the top of the dash.

Hi all,

Does suede do better in the sun than leather?

It is less reflective than leather so the glare would be less.

Hmm Suede seems relativley heavy to have been used in the F1, they even sought out especially thin lightweight leather for the upholstery. Is it not the lighter but similar looking alacantra?

I am sure that with GM's attention to detail and weight that it was the lightest, thinest possible alcantara
