Swappable?

Is the interior on an '95 Avenger swappable with a 2g Eclipse? because the inside looks identical except for the rear side glass panels. Also, would anything else swap besides random under-the-hood parts? Thanks for any info.

I know for a fact that the dashes and door panels are the same. I don't believe the center consoles or seats are the same though. Then again, I've never got the chance to personally inspect the interior of one. I just know a few certain things. I don't know about underhood stuff... I doubt anything under there is swappable since they are different motors.

since the door panels are the same, is the entire door the same or actually the stuff inside the door and mirrors, because I'm tryin to find an eclipse or talon with power windows, doorlocks , and mirrors that I can get off of it for cheap and put the power stuff in my RS (because damn manual window crankin sucks!), and i came across a wrecked '95 Avenger, and the guys willin to part the car out and its got the stuff i need and i wasn't completely sure if it would work.

Hmmm... Hard to say, I would guess only the interior panels but the whole door could be the same, donno...

I dont think the door panels are the same...my friend has an Avenger and I was trying to compare them....and I think the doors on the avenger are bigger...

They are the same but I'm sure not on all years because that is where a lot of people get their black interiors from for DSM's. There were more Avengers with full black interiors than they made for DSM's.

since you have the rs it has the same motor as the 4 cly averger. My ex has one and pretty much everything is the same

So will the power stuff work if i pulled it out of the avenger and put it in the eclipse? the avenger has a 2.5L V6 so i know it wouldn't swap to good.

Scott's right, if it's a 4cyl then the whole motor will swap out and everything under the hood (for the most part) but if it's the v6 then nothing will work. And I think everything will swap out from the interior except the seats, IIRC, but it's been awhile since I've been in an Avenger.
