Re: CVT Transmission Fluid fill
I believe they are "factory fill" and not only do not have an accessable dipstick, but use a very special "Torque Fluid" that is not readily available.

Thanks ModMech,
I was looking again the other day and actually found a dipstick, it is on the front end of the transmission. It is under the air box, in a wierd spot, good thing is I found it and had to order the cvt hydrolic tranny fluid from Ford, it wasn't cheap though! thanks so much for your help! Kam300M |

Re: CVT Transmission Fluid fill
if you need to fill the fluid DO NOT POUR IT DOWN THE DIPSTICK TUBE like on older models - there is a plug on the top of the tranny used to fill the fluid - not sure why but ford has warnings out about filling thru he dipstick tube
