Exclamation which motor?

what motor even goes into the 3g eclipse gt? i'm tryin to research to see what all's available as far as mods, but i can't find the specific engin number?!?!?!is it the 6g72 that's in the 3000gt?HELP

OK, being a noob, I will give you some advice for the future so that you dont piss anyone off. Dont create a thread like this...ever, because this is a very simple question, and it could have been answered by reading the first few threads, or by doing a site search. Yes, the V6 in the GT is the 6g72, although it is not the "same" motor as in the 3000gt (ours is a SOHC and the 3kgt is a DOHC). You actually have to "do" some research in order to find anything, so just because you cant find an answer with your first try it doesnt mean the info isnt out there. Please read the first few stickied posts on thie forum.
