You would much better luck starting a new post, but anyhow, it is located under the dash on the passenger side and can be seen by removing the large black plastic shield under the dash on the passenger side and then by removing a 10mm nut and bracket, at which time the silver rectangular box (the computer) can be pulled down and disconnected from its three wiring harnesses.

Re: How difficult is to replace ECM?

Alternator charges part time?.. voltage drops?
What?
Why do you say that?... battery dies?..
Bad connections at the battery?
Bad battery.. shorts inside?

Lots of stuff without explaining how you come to the conclusion.

If the voltage is 14 v... its charging...
