Unhappy Blinker issue... HELP!!!

OK I am helping a friend with her 92 Amigo, she bought a new multi function switch. Had it installed by a shop it worked for few days and quit working again... All of the bulbs were replaced and the light sockets were cleaned. But the left side still does not work. There is a clicking sound but no light in the dash or the exterior lights. BUT when the hazard button is pushed all lights work. The part was purchased online and the warranty is up! Any help would be appreciated.

THANKS!

Good idea thanks... I think I have it narrowed down to the harness on the drivers side, between the light and the harness that runs up the chasis.

Thanks again.

Mark.
