Question 02 altima looking for loation of AC thermostat and relay

02 altima looking for location of AC thermostat and AC relay switch.
from my tests I gather that my compresor is fine and I have a electrical disconnect problem. the 2 possible causes are thermostat or relay.
Anyone knows where AC thermostat might be located.
And also which relay switch is the one for AC.
I cant find any info on the web.
THNX FOR ANY INFO

First the AC relay is a non replaceable relay , Its in the IPDM control unit. What seems to be the problem? AC not working, If AC is not working it could be possible your AC system is low on freon.Explain what is going on , and maybe we could help.

Question Re: 02 altima looking for loation of AC thermostat and relay

AC basically blowes cold and worm air whenever it wants to, while the fan blowes like it should be cooling. I rigged up a little device (light bulb)to check if the clutch engages and it seems like when the clutch is enagaged the system blows a cold air. Now when it starts to blow worm air the clutch is disengaged. That tells me that whatever controlles the clutch is bad. In my opinion its the thermostat inside the cab, or the relay swith. or if it exists some kind of pressure switch(I say that cause the guys at Pep Boys tested the system and said that the system seems to have too much pressure).
This is as far as I got. I very much appretiate your help. Any ideas are welcome.
Andy

First of all to much pressure meaning that there is to much freon? Or one side is higher in pressure than the other . There is a Low side and a High side. If the system is over charged then the compressor will automatically kick off and the AC system won't work properly. There should only be some where around 1.20 Lbs of freon in the vech. I would make sure freon level is correct then work from there

Question Re: 02 altima looking for loation of AC thermostat and relay

About the pressure.. The guy at Pepboys said that it was changeing sometimes it was high on the high pressure side sometimes on the low pressure side. I dont have the tools to check it my self. I assume that he refilled the freon properly after he was done.
Possible pressure switch??
thnx
