I am in the process of a full restore of a '69 C10 myself. I picked it up local here from an old man that bought the truck new so I am the second owner and every thing on it is original. I think the belts and hoses are the ones that came on it. 87K, short bed, step side. I have been in the auto body and restore business forever 20 year odd years so if you run into a tangle get in touch.

Re: 67 c10

sounds like a nice truck. the one i got is all original even the paint. the stereo was upgraded but thats it. the guy i bought it from did some body work on it but not much. there's very little rust on it considering how old it is. the only problem areas are the rocker panels and a couple holes behind the rear driver side wheel. shouldnt be to hard to fix.

Re: 67 c10

This one didn't even have a radio in it. Mine is in about the same shape rockers are bad ,drivers cab corner, bed rotted has a big sheet of sheet metal in it, it had a 307 in it 3 on the tree but the motor had set for a while so I dropped a 307 I had in it so I can drive it some before the full restore begins. I don't have much room in the shop right now but I am semi retired so I don't do much work I let my crew do it so I am thinking about taking it home to my shop there where I first started the business and do it there.

Re: 67 c10

That's the best resource I found. I have been a member there almost 2 years now. I bought my truck and have recieved ALOT of help. There are some guys on there who's life are those trucks and they really know their stuff. There is one guy in there who is great with the 88-98 trucks too. He saved my but twice already!

Go in the welcome area and post some pics of your '69 and take a look at my 68. Not much done yet but I have plenty of plans.

I bet you got more done on yours than mine. I dropped in the other engine so I could move it around until I got ready for the full off frame deal drove it around town some had to redo about every thing. Brakes, MC you name it from where it had sat up. So now I have it home and she's going to be my winter project I think. I need to do something I have done let her sit and the tires are going flat again.
