Gettin called out, need some info.
So this kid at my girl's work has a new Civic Si and thinks he can take me (i know, rofl, right?). He's sayin how he has the factory performance package, which to MY knowledge is just a body kit, muffler, and other bs. But he's saying it came with a turbo and other stuff that he "can't put on until its out of warranty"
 . So I told him to put money on it or else stop wasting his breath, then he says he needs "time" with his car...to which I laughed and said okay. I'm not too worried about him beating me ever, but i'm just curious if there actually is a turbo option for the performance package?

I heard of the SC version but no turbo...my RSX comes with the company SC and its like 6-8K for it haha waste of money imo. But yeah never heard of the TC version...hes BSing.

your DOHC, right? F*****G eat him. If your SOHC, it will be close.
but, yea, ive never heard of any factory performance package with a Turbo...i would call his BS. 10 to 1 he comes up with a reason you he cant or wont race you.

That is BS. Honda has NEVER offered a turbo for the Civic. Hell, I can count on one hand how many cars they have turbo-charged, the Civic not being one of them.
You should ask him why a factory upgrade will void his warranty. What a douche.

HAHA too funny, same thing is happening to me with a guy at my work who just bought a scion tc... says hes getting a sc for it for 5grand... and it willbe up to ... 210 hp.. I was like,,"WHAT!" 210! for 5 grand! that must mean they dont change any internals and they will let him run like 3psi or something! then he will blow his engine after about two months! what a joke a scion is!
