1996 Intrepid Tanny

It will not go when given the gas.If it does decide to go it will not shift gears. Is there any trouble shooting guides to this ? Not sure of the mileage but it is driven by a woman. It was serviced by billy bobs cars shop (LOL) . It ran great for a few months and now nothing.
